Terms of service
These terms explain what you can expect from GigCircle and the rules that apply when you use the website or mobile app.
Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. About GigCircle
GigCircle is a service provided by Waypointer Digital B.V. for discovering, planning, recording and sharing concerts, festivals and related memories.
These terms apply to thegigcircle.app, the progressive web app and the GigCircle mobile apps.
2. Account and age
- You use CircleAccount to sign in to GigCircle securely.
- GigCircle is not intended for children under 13.
- If you are 13, 14 or 15, you need permission from a parent or guardian where the law in your country requires it.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure.
3. Using the service
- Do not use GigCircle for illegal activity, harassment, discrimination, deception or spam.
- Do not interfere with the security, availability or normal operation of the service.
- Do not collect or use information about other users without a valid legal basis or permission.
- Do not impersonate another person, artist, venue or organisation.
4. Your content
You keep the rights to text, photos, videos, ratings and other content you add. You give GigCircle a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content as needed to operate the service and according to the visibility you select.
You confirm that you have the rights required to upload content and that it does not infringe the rights of others. You can remove your content through the available features or contact support.
5. Concert and festival information
Information about artists, performances, setlists, venues, times and ticket links may come from organisers, external data sources and users. We work to keep it current but cannot guarantee that all information is complete or error-free.
Always verify important information such as start times, accessibility and entry conditions with the organiser or venue.
6. Tickets and external services
GigCircle does not normally sell tickets. Ticket links take you to an external provider, whose terms govern purchases and related disputes.
Connections with services including CircleAccount, Spotify and Apple Music are also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. You can disconnect these services within GigCircle.
7. Community and moderation
User contributions express the views of the relevant user. GigCircle may restrict or remove content and temporarily or permanently restrict accounts when needed for safety, the rights of others or compliance with these terms.
Report unwanted or unlawful content through the reporting feature or support page.
8. Availability and changes
We continuously develop GigCircle. Features may change, become temporarily unavailable or be discontinued. We aim to communicate important changes clearly and in good time.
We may update these terms when the service, law or our practices change. The current version is always available on this page.
9. Liability
GigCircle is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, missed events, purchases from third parties or loss caused by inaccurate information from external sources or users.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your GigCircle account at any time through the public account deletion page. Personal data and connections are removed. Shared contributions may remain in anonymised form where needed to preserve conversation context for others.
We may restrict or end access in cases of serious or repeated misuse. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and available next steps.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Mandatory consumer rights and competent dispute bodies in your country of residence continue to apply where required by law.
