GigCircle is a service of Waypointer Digital B.V. in the Netherlands. This policy applies to thegigcircle.app, the progressive web app and the GigCircle mobile apps.

• Account and profile: name, email address, username, profile photo, bio and your CircleAccount identifier.
• Concert data: concerts and festivals in your plans, attendance, ratings, reviews, notes, favourites, artists and venues you follow.
• Memories and media: photos, videos, text and other content you add.
• Social data: friends, followers, comments, likes, invitations, conversations and notifications.
• Music services: data you import after voluntarily connecting Spotify or Apple Music.
• Location: your location when you grant permission, for example for nearby concerts or a check-in.
• Device and usage: IP address, browser, operating system, device characteristics, logs and error reports.
• Notifications: a push token and your preferences when you enable notifications.

• To create your account and operate GigCircle.
• To show your concert plans, memories, setlists and personal music history.
• To provide social features such as following, sharing, invitations and messages.
• To import connected music services when you ask us to.
• To help you discover relevant concerts, artists and venues.
• To provide security, prevent abuse, offer support and improve the service.
• To send email and push notifications according to your settings.

Your profile, activity and content you post may be visible to other users according to the visibility you choose. Private conversation content is intended only for its participants.

Do not post another person's personal data without permission. You can report unwanted content or behaviour through feedback or the support page.

We do not sell your personal data. We use carefully selected providers to operate GigCircle:

• Hetzner: server hosting in the European Union.
• Cloudflare: security, content delivery and media storage.
• CircleAccount: sign-in and account management within the CircleSuite operated by Waypointer Digital B.V.
• Mailbino: transactional email operated by Waypointer Digital B.V.
• Spotify and Apple Music: only when you connect a music service yourself.
• Platform services from Apple, Google and browsers: for push notifications when you enable them.

GigCircle supplements public information about artists, venues, concerts and setlists with external data sources. We may use AI services from providers including Google, Anthropic, Mistral AI and fal.ai to enrich this public catalogue data and app assets.

We do not intentionally send your name, email address, private messages or private memories to these AI services for catalogue enrichment.

We process data when necessary to provide the service, when you give consent, when we must comply with a legal obligation or when we have a legitimate interest such as security and product improvement. You can withdraw permission for location, notifications and connected music services.

We retain your data while your account is active and afterwards only as long as required for security, legal obligations and limited backups.

The public Delete account page explains how to request deletion. When your request is processed, directly identifying account data is anonymised and access tokens are revoked. Content that forms part of a conversation or shared activity may remain in anonymised form where needed to preserve context for other users.

We use technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data. Connections use HTTPS and passwords are not stored as readable text. No system is entirely risk-free.

Under the GDPR, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Email your request to privacy@waypointerdigital.com.

GigCircle is not intended for children under 13. If you are 13, 14 or 15, permission from a parent or guardian is required where the law in your country requires it. If we learn that a child's data was processed without valid permission, we will delete or anonymise it.

We use functional cookies and similar storage required for sign-in, security, language preferences and operation of the service. We do not use advertising cookies.
